Thread Menswear

Fashion sense. You either have it or you don’t. It’s like a language that some people speak so effortlessly, and for others, it’s unfathomable and pretty difficult to understand. For those of you who need a pointer to fashion-ville, then finding that direction and inspiration can be a little overwhelming.

You could log onto Instagram and Tik Tok to see the latest trending trends, but the sheer volume of posts could make even the most discerning fashionista panic by the avalanche of styles and trends catapulted out to the masses. You could also buy vogue, or GQ and flick through the high fashion editorials, but these will either inspire or terrify (these luxury options don’t come cheap). You do have the option of a personal shopper, but, until Boris allows us to step foot in a store, this isn’t much use either. So where can you turn for a little fashion advice? Well, you can just log onto Thread.

Basically, Thread has taken the stress out of styling yourself and solved it by the clever questions you answer as soon as you access their site. These quick and easy questions kickstart the website algorithm, and then a virtual personalised closet is created, full of clothes tailored to you (based on your answers). The store is tailored entirely to your style, size, and budget. That means you’ll spend less time scrolling and more time finding clothes that make you look and feel your best, hooray!

Thread stock familiar favourites like Burberry and Nike alongside smaller, independent brands such as Stepney Workers Club and Folk. And they will also use the brands you mentioned you liked in the opening quiz questions and recommend new ones that they think you’ll love. There is no fee or subscription, they will just send weekly outfits to your inbox, all picked to suit your style, and then you choose if you want to buy them or not, it’s that simple.

Also, if that’s not enough, you are allocated a personal stylist who is on hand with style recommendations and is ready to answer any questions you might have regarding the items in your basket, or some styles you’re unsure of. I tried this all out for myself and had a stunning outfit picked out which is exactly to my taste, the only problem is, I don’t really have many places to wear it, apart from the kitchen and living room. However, since Boris has given us some hope with potential dates where we can finally plan some events, there has never been a better time to kit out your wardrobe.

It’s time to get those cosy jogger sets out of your drawers and replace them with some new THREADS (did you see what I did there?)

Anyway, if you’re intrigued and want to give it a go for yourself, then just click here. They’re also offering a lovely 20% off when you spend £75 or over, so start your wardrobe planning immediately and see what Thread can do for you!
